Susanne Rooney

Susanne Rooney 66, of Tustin, California passed away on January 7, 2021. Susanne was born on November 25, 1954, to Stanley and June van den Noort in Boston, Massachusetts. Susanne was an alumna of Cal State Fullerton. She worked in finance at Vista Paint and operated a successful tax preparation business for many years. She is survived by three children; Aren Rooney and his wife, Sophiny of Santa Ana, CA, John Fluman, and his wife Natasha of San Clemente, CA, and Jennifer Whelchel of Apple Valley, CA. Four grandchildren; Alex Fluman, Aden Whelchel, Olivia Whelchel, and Eva Rooney. Four siblings; Eric van den Noort, Peter van den Noort, Kathy Corona, and Betsy Spear. Nieces and nephews; Salvatore Fruciano, Melissa Amonoo-Neizer, Stephanie Carilli, Riley Thomas, and William Spear. Susanne is predeceased by her daughter Sarah Ann Salcido and her long-time partner Bob Sanchez.
