Sharon Kay Heston Crowell Sharon Kay Heston Crowell , 61, of Irvine, California died Tuesday, March 12, 2013. She was born September 1, 1951 in Inglewood, CA to Katherine and Dr. Max Heston. Sharon graduated from Cal State University Long Beach with an art degree. She was a skilled artist; dedicating much of her time to various creative projects such as designing jewelry with antique buttons, drawing and painting using pencil, watercolor, and pastel. She also enjoyed playing the piano. Her favorite pastimes included shopping for antiques, which she had a keen eye for, along with making and selling jewelry at local craft fairs. She was a wonderful companion, mother and friend with a contagious smile. The couple married in Palos Verdes, CA in 1976. They enjoyed dining out with family and friends. They also enjoyed the movies and were known to see all the latest flicks. Rick and Sharon were dedicated to their children, whom they are survived by: their daughter, Tami Crowell and son, and daughter-in-law, Catherine and Casey Crowell.
