Scott Warren Johnson

Scott Warren Johnson passed away on June 4th, 2024, at 6:33 am at the age of 65 years young. He is survived by his wife Mary of 36+ years and two sons Kevin (34) and Sean (28). Scott was born in Duluth, Minnesota on June 5th, 1958, to Gerald (Jerry) and Mary Jo Johnson. Scott is a husband, father, son and brother. He is now reunited with his father, mother and brothers in heavenly peace.

Our Dad was so much more to Kevin and me. He was a towering figure and gentle giant, but more importantly he was our hero. Dad imparted many lessons through his boys, and we look to make him proud. He made us proud.

His laughter was infectious and the way he would repeat a punchline through laughter is something we won’t forget. He won’t be forgotten! He made home just that, home. His calm…His calm was special. His snores and sneezes and farts were loud. His ability to not strangle me as a child was incredible.

Over the last month our dad gave all of us his greatest gift: he brought our family closer together, he made us focus on what’s important and for that we thank you Dad. I will miss the big guy but as the little man of the house I want you to rest easy knowing we love you and we will take care of everything down here. We will miss you, Dad. I Love you.

Instead of a formal service, we are creating a memorial video about our dad’s life that we would like all our family and friends to be a part of, which we will share with you all.
