Rozanne Englehart, 64, passed away in Brea, California on February 19, 2021. She is warmly held in the hearts of her friends, family, and everyone who knew her.
She was born in Levittown, Pennsylvania and moved to Southern California in the late 1950s with her parents Tom and Wilma Englehart. She lived in Orange County, the San Fernando Valley, and Glendale. She studied Radio, TV, and Film and earned an MBA at Cal State Northridge. Rozanne spent most of her career in an industry she loved, working at KFI, Marketron, KTLA, KCBS, KCOP, Warner Brothers, Fox Movie Channel, and Sony.
In Glendale, Rozanne turned her focus from the entertainment industry to yoga. Yoga at the Village opened her to the healing attributes of dedicated practice. She and her since-deceased husband Garry Haverland moved to Yorba Linda, where they opened Yoga Sol Studio in 2012.
Rozanne will be remembered for her consistently positive attitude and huge generosity. She had an extraordinary ability to recognize talent in others and build them up so they could achieve more than they imagined possible for themselves. She had a passion for the arts, golf, and classic rock.
She is survived by her sisters Cathy, Barbara, Janice, and Mary; sister-in-law Marsha McMillian and step- son Leland McMillian and his family; and the Haverland family, including mother-in-law Rosemary, siblings Pam, Mark, Mindy, and Brenda, and children Courtney, Devin, and Kelly and their seven wonderful children.
A virtual memorial will be held on Sunday, February 28th at 1:00 pm PST. Details will be posted to the https://www.yogasolstudio.com/ Yoga Sol website as soon as available.
The extended family will hold a small in-person rosary and meditation under the full moon in an outdoor Yorba Linda park on Saturday, February 27th, 5:30 – 6:30 PST. Due to COVID, we ask you to join us in spirit by lighting a candle with your own prayers or ritual practice at home.
