Services for Robert Baker Memorial Services for Robert Baker will be held on Friday, 09/08/2017 at 7pm at Saddleback Chapel, Tustin, CA. Robert L. Baker, of Orange, passed away following a brief battle with lymphoma on August 30, 2017. The youngest son of Forrest Ervin Baker and Margaret Ellen Baker, he was born in Long Beach, CA on September, 02.1953. Bob was a devoted son, brother, husband and father. He was a deeply loyal and devoted friend. Bob retired 11 years ago following nearly 30 years of working as a Police Sergeant for the California State University Police Department. He avidly followed current events, and was an expert in numerous subjects including WWII, trains, emergency preparedness and the airline industry. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Donald, he is survived by his wife, Cherryl; his daughter, Emma; his brother, James; his niece, Kim Anguiano; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Cynthia and John Ganahl; and his niece and nephew, Olivia Cail and Owen Cail. He will be forever loved, missed, remembered and honored.
