Rita Dartis

Dartis, Rita G. Cormier, age 85, passed away on Thursday, November 21st, 2019 in Santa Ana, CA. Born in Cankton, Louisiana, Rita was a faithful Parishioner at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Santa Ana. Rita was also a proud member of the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. and later served as an Educator for many years in both the Los Angeles Catholic Archdiocese and Los Angeles Unified School Districts. Preceded in passing by her husband, Caffery Dartis, she is survived by her Son; Demetri (Robin, Daughter in Law) Dartis, Daughter; Carla (Steven Son in Law) Carter; Grandchildren, Demetri DePaul Dartis, Zaire Dartis and Jeremy Carter. Brothers; Raymond Cormier Sr. and Donald Cormier and Sisters; Sister Romauld, Marie F. Cormier Ross and Lois Plumber.

A Visitation Service will be held on Thursday, December 5th, 2019 from 5-9 PM with Rosary at 7 PM at Saddleback Chapel, Tustin, CA. Funeral Mass on Friday, December 6th, 2019 12:30 PM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Santa Ana, CA. Burial on Tuesday, December 10th, 2019 at 11:45 AM at Riverside National Military Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
