Ramon Ramirez Jr.

Ramon “Ray” Ramirez, Jr., passed away on August 2, 2019 at the age of 89, in the comfort of his home in Santa Ana, CA surrounded by his loving wife & family. He is survived by his wife Angela, 12 children & many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ray was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on May 12, 1930. He proudly served in the Army during the Korean War where he earned the Purple Heart Ray worked at the El Toro Marine Base for 25 years and later for the Santa Ana Unified School District. His friendly attitude and strong work ethic made an impact to those around him. Ray was a devout Catholic who enjoyed attending mass regularly. He will be remembered for his loving support, kindness, sense of humor & his captivating way of telling stories. Services August 15, 2019 at Saddleback Chapel in Tustin, CA. Viewing 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass August 16, 2019 at Our Lady of Pillar Church in Santa Ana, CA.
