Bob and Marimartha both worked hard and bought a home in Lakewood, CA, where they resided for 14 years. Finding the two-bedroom home a bit small for their growing family of six, they found and bought their dream home in North Tustin, CA, in 1964, where they resided happily for over 59 years. Marimartha enjoyed reading avidly and sharing her love of reading with her children and grandchildren. With her family, she enjoyed traveling, especially to national parks, where they enjoyed camping, fishing, and hiking. Marimartha also treasured trips with Bob in later years to Greece, Tahiti, Hong Kong, and Fiji. An accomplished baker, Marimartha wowed her family with her talents and baked wedding cakes for a living. She knitted and sewed beautifully for a hobby. Other activities she enjoyed included skiing, tennis, and lawn bowling. Marimartha, a kind, brave, and incredibly generous woman, is predeceased by her husband, Bob Lindsay, who passed away in 2017. She was very close to and involved with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters Andrea, Denise, and Glenna and her son Rob. She also is survived by her ten grandchildren, including Brett, Matt, Kelsey, Kailyn, Brynne, Taryne, Devin, Lauren, Luke, and Wyatt, and her seven great-grandchildren, including Charlotte, Claudia, Emma, Elijah, Noah, Chloe, and Olivia. Marimartha is remembered for the big heart she shared with her friends and family. Her children were the light of her life. She was an extraordinary wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, colleague, and friend. She will truly be missed and will never be forgotten. A service celebrating Marimartha's life will be held on Saturday, July 15th, at noon, at Saddleback Chapel in Tustin. Please feel free to send condolences to Legacy.com.
