“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!”

Matthew 25:23

Margaret Ann "Maggie" Robles (née Moreno), aged 90, passed away on July 19, 2024, in Costa Mesa, California from natural causes and complications related to Alzheimer’s.

Born in Orange on December 10, 1933, she graduated from Orange High School and Fullerton College. Her early adult life was dedicated to caring for others as a Registered Nurse, specializing in pediatric infectious diseases, touching many lives with her compassion and expertise.

Post her nursing career she continued in service volunteering for many charitable causes as well as caring for her growing family of four children. She remained a fixture in the communities of Costa Mesa (Where she lived) and Orange (Where she grew up), fostering many friendships and remaining close to her ever-expanding family.

She is survived by her brother Ray Moreno; sons Edmund Robles (Jeanne) and David Robles (Dana); daughters Eugenia Arzaga (Art, deceased) and Rosanna Valle; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, as well as multiple nephews, nieces, cousins and other extended family.

Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert Robles, granddaughter, Annie Robles, her parents (Pete and Clementine), as well as sisters and brothers.

A vigil will be held at Saddleback Chapel in Tustin on August 22 at 5 pm, with a Rosary at 7 pm. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for August 23 at 10 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Costa Mesa. Internment will follow immediately at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Orange.

In lieu of flowers, her family requests contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, or other brain wellness institute, in her memory.

Margaret’s infectious laugh and spirit of love, fun, kindness, generosity, faith, servant leadership, perseverance and integrity will be greatly missed, but she will forever serve as an inspiration to all.

Celebrate that she now enjoys the best version of herself in everlasting life, surrounded by love and peace, embraced by the glory of our Lord.
