She was feisty and outspoken with a laugh that was unique to her alone. Lauren always lit up the room with her smile and sense of humor, even while struggling with her demons. She loved her family and friends who became family along the way. She was passionate about Jesus and about pursuing recovery.
This amazing woman should be remembered for these things, and not her mistakes. Lauren was open about her struggles, knowing that the pain and lessons in her own story could be guideposts for others in recovery. This strong attitude with a fierce drive and loving, beautiful heart that wanted to help other addicts is one of the many things that she can be defined by, not her addiction.
Lauren is survived by her four daughters: Kaya Furry, Charlie Furry, Emmi Furry and Skylah Adams.
Her parents Georgia and Max Adams.
Her sister and brother-in-law, Heather and Reeve Haldeman. Her nieces: Sydney Engelhardt, Chelsea Engelhardt, and Simone Haldeman. Nephew, Ray Haldeman.
Her Aunts: Laura Adams, Kathleen Adams, Marguerite Adams, Rhea Flores. Her Uncles: Ray Adams, Lex Adams, Louie Flores, and Jessie Griffin.
And numerous cousins who she loved.
She’s preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Maxine & Herald Adams; and maturnal grandparents Lilly & Ralph Griffen.
