Dear Family and Friends of Alma June McCain, We are deeply saddened to inform you our mother passed away peacefully on October 18, 2018. Mom was taken to the hospital two days before her death and was diagnosed with two large blood clots in her lungs. The doctors said she also suffered a heart attack probably precipitated by the blood clots. Although the doctors administered strong blood clot busting medications, it quickly became obvious Mom would not recover to any quality of life. Art, Jonee and I decided to make Mom’s last few days as pain free and peaceful as possible; so, we ordered her taken off life support. The entire hospital staff was wonderful in making sure she did not suffer at any time and she eventually just fell asleep. As you all know, our Mom was a genuine treasure and loved her family and friends deeply. She touched our hearts in so many ways and we will miss her each and every day. June is survived by her two sons (Mike & Art), her daughter-in-law (Jonee), two grandaughters (Michele & Marcie) and three great-grandsons (Jacob, Alex and Luke). She also adored her two grandsons-in-law (Adam & Dave).
