Juana M. De La Garza Perez, lovingly known to her family as La Queen, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025, at 93 years.
Born in Tamaulipas, Mexico, Juanita carried her roots, traditions, and boundless love with her throughout her life. She spent the last 40 years in Orange County, where she dedicated her life to her family.
Juanita was the proud mother of eight children, grandmother to 28 grandchildren, and great-grandmother to 27 great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy, her purpose, and her legacy.
She was warm, fun, and endlessly loving—truly one of a kind. Known as the best cook. Cooking was her love language and it brought her great joy to feed her loved ones. The kitchen was a place of comfort, connection, and countless cherished memories.
Juanita lived for her family, and her presence was felt deeply by all who were blessed to know her. Her love was steady, her heart generous, and her strength undeniable. Though she will be deeply missed, the lessons she taught, the meals she shared, and the love she gave will live on through generations.
She leaves behind a family forever grateful to have been loved by her.

Nacida en Tamaulipas, México, Juanita llevó consigo sus raíces, tradiciones y un amor infinito a lo largo de toda su vida. Pasó los últimos 40 años en el Condado de Orange, donde dedicó su vida a su familia.

Juanita vivió para su familia, y su presencia se sintió profundamente en todos los que tuvieron la bendición de conocerla. Su amor fue constante, su corazón generoso y su fortaleza innegable. Aunque será profundamente extrañada, las enseñanzas que dejó, las comidas que compartió y el amor que entregó vivirán por generaciones.
