Jess Zamora was born on November 05, 1957 in Orange, California to Manuel & Socorro Zamora. He was the eldest of 5 children (Manny, Ed, Becky, Henry).
He attended St. Barbara Catholic School and graduated from Mater Dei High School in 1975.
In June 1976 while on vacation in Hawaii, he met Chris who became the love of his life.
They were married in 1980 and had 2 children, Elisia (Brandon) and Alex (Deena), and 4 grandchildren, Dylan, Madelyn, Cecilia and Andrew.
Besides his family, his passion was music. He loved his bass guitars and played in several bands throughout the years.
Jess retired from the City of Santa Ana in 2016 and was set to live the good life, but he was diagnosed with Cancer in 2018.
After 6 years of battling, he succumbed to his illness and died peacefully at home on May 18, 2024.
