George Louis Trinkle

With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of our Husband and Father, George Louis Trinkle. He bravely fought an 11 month battle with Brain Cancer, but on August 11, 2025 he peacefully passed with his family at his side at the age of 64 years old. He left everyone with a lot of memories of his love and life.

George Trinkle was Born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, to his Father Louis Joe Trinkle and Mother Sue Trinkle. In 1965, He and his mother traveled from Taiwan to California to reunite with his father Louis. He Lived in California, graduating from Cypress High School, which became the same high school his three kids graduated from.

George met the love of his life, Maria Yisel, in 1991, and married in 1993. They had three beautiful children, Alex, Troy and Erik.

George Trinkle was a brave solider, who chose to protect his country and to protect his family. Serving one tour in Iraq and two tours in Afghanistan. He was proudly a member of the United States Army Rangers and the Special Forces (the Green Berets) and was well decorated for his service. After his service, he continued to protect his country as a civilian cyber security specialist.

He was extremely proud of his family, and his family was proud of him. He left this world knowing that his children were safe and prepared for the world, with the same resilience as himself.

He will be missed.

His Funeral service will be on August 21, 2025 at SaddleBack Chapel in Tustin, at 10am, then at 1:45pm he will be honored and laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery
