Feliza L. Murrieta Feliza (aka Alicia) L. Murrieta, a resident of Orange County, CA for 58 years, peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family.She was born in El Paso, TX to Felix Landeros and Matilde Gonzales. At the age of two, her family moved to Orange County, CA, where she was raised. Growing up as a young child in Delhi, she and her family would walk to church at Our Lady of Guadalupe to attend services with Fr. Jose Origel. She received her sacraments from Father who also married Alicia and Urbano in 1939. They were married for 35 years until Urbano's passing in 1976. Feliza is survived by seven loving children, Urbano (Stella), Irene Ybarbo (Paul), Robert (Nobie), Art (Diane), Rudy (Linda), Vicki Suarez (Dan), Fred (Carleen), and daughter-in-law Lorena; 29 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren. Feliza was a devout and faithful Catholic attending Mass at La Purisima regularly for 36 years until she became ill three weeks ago. Alicia and Urbano were farmers in the 40's in Irvine and San Diego county, while raising their eight children. Alicia held many titles and was known as a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. Some of her favorite activities, aside from being around her family, were sewing, crocheting, knitting, and in her later years, piano became a favorite pastime of hers. We will always remember her daily routine of completing the crossword puzzles from the OC Register. Funeral Information Visitation Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 5-9 pm, with Rosary at 7 pm, at Saddleback Chapel, Tustin Funeral Mass Friday, December 5, 2014 at 10 am at La Purisima Catholic Church, Orange Burial to follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Orange
