Dolores Henley

Dolores Henley Dolores Jean Henley died February 20, 2016, sleeping peacefully after suffering with dementia. Born in Springfield, Ill. to Charles and Georgia Beck, her early life was a testimony to faith, endurance and being at the top of her class. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Doy, and son, David, of St. George, UT. Very much a life partner with Doy in various businesses and was known for her amazing sweet disposition and kindness to others. She possessed a strong Christian faith and was a lifetime member of the Lutheran Church and with her husband are long time members of St. John's Lutheran Church in Orange. She grew up in Ill. and moved to Orange County where she enjoyed and embraced the O.C. life. She was in and with several organizations including PTA and other charities. Dee had the vision that saw the better possibilities of what her family could be. She embraced the idea that that we were was based upon our qualities of being a kind and respectful and generous person. She was a quiet and effective person who always looked for the good in others, never speaking ill of anyone. Truly a lovely human being who will live in her family's hearts forever. She loved her family deeply and their wants and needs were a primary concern to her. She loved them and was quietly and strongly reinforcing their faith, their love for one another and serving and helping other people. She was not flashy nor wanting to be the center of attention, but she was strong and could get things done with a nod, a look or a gracious smile. Thanks be to God for her life and now her entry into life with her Lord. May her memory be a blessing to all who remember her! Visitation will be Friday, February 26, 2016 from 4 til 7 pm, at Saddleback Chapel Mortuary, 220 E. Main St., Tustin. Her services will be at St. John's Lutheran Church, 185 S. Center St, in Orange, CA. on Saturday, February 27 at 11 am, with burial to follow at Lutheran Cemetery.
