Funeral Arrangements Chuong was born on August 28, 1978 in Vung Tau, Vietnam. This was a very difficult time for the Ngo family as his father, Ha Ngo, was a prisoner of war and was not able to find work and his mother, Lan Ngo, struggled everyday to support the family. In 1979, his father escaped from Vietnam to the United States by himself because he did not have enough money for the whole family. In the United States, he worked very hard to support himself and to send money back home. This enabled Chuong and his mother to escape from Vietnam in 1981. They re-united as a family in 1982.In the year 1983, Chuong became an older brother to John Ngo and again in 1986 to Jimmy Ngo. Being the only brother and son that was born in Vietnam, he still able to retain many of the Vietnamese traditions and values. As the eldest son, he took on those responsibilities very seriously because he knew that we would looked up to as a role model to his younger brothers. For Chuong, it was always about family and being the first one in the family to learn English fluently and being able to adapt to life in the United States, Chuong made it his responsibility to help out his parents and brothers in any way possible as he was growing up. Chuong made it his responsibility to learn everything first and pass it down to his brothers. He was always the person to fix everything around house, and fix the cars so the burden would be lessened on his family. If his brothers needed money for school or clothes, he would provide it to his brothers so that they would not to need to ask their parents.Besides his leadership qualities, Chuong was very creative and artistic. Chuong loved to draw as a child. He would doodle and create projects to past time. While Chuong was in middle school he won an art competition that was sponsored by John Wayne Airport. The plane that Chuong drew was displayed at John Wayne Airport for over 10 years and Chuong was very proud of this.Chuong started attending Tustin High School in 1993. While attending school he was also able to obtain his first part-time job at Videoland, where he would work during the weekdays and weekends to help out his family financially. This workplace was important to Chuong as he was able to get jobs for his two younger brothers at this store as the got older, so that may also be able to help support the family. He knew the importance of education and studied hard in school to set a good example for John and Jimmy. Chuong graduated from Tustin High School in 1997 with Honors. In the fall of 1997, Chuong started his college education at Cal State Fullerton, which provided him with many great memories. This is where he met his wife Leslie during the summer of 2000 in an Art class. That's when the sparks started. They both became great friends at first enjoying each other's companionship. They often hung out at Starbucks just talking, eating out, going to movies, and even stayed at home watching TV enjoying each other's company more than anything else. They were a loving couple for 9 years before getting married. Chuong graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business and a minor Art in the spring of 2004. After graduating he started working for a medical device company in Carlsbad as a document control associate for 2 years. He then joined Irvine Biomedical Inc., which is now St. Jude Medical and worked there for 6+ years. He first started with document control then later moved to the regulatory affairs organization where he became a Regulatory Affairs Specialist. Chuong enjoyed going to work where he was surrounded with great people who respected the quality and integrity of his work. He liked and was liked by his coworkers so much that he formed a fun softball team called The Ablators On January 17, 2009, Chuong and Leslie got married at St. Cecilia church in Tustin. Many of their friends and family were present to celebrate their special day. Even after Chuong got married he continued to support his father, mother, and brothers in any way possible. A good example of this occurred right before Chuong's passing; several days before his hospitalization, he replaced the broken tent in the patio of his parent's house, he didn't ask his brother's for help or complained, he just did it because family was always his first priority. The year 2010 was an exciting year for Chuong and Leslie. They purchased their first home in Tustin and were blessed with a beautiful daughter named Elizabeth Ann Ngo. Chuong was very excited to become a "Daddy" and he was looking forward to changing diapers, midnight feedings, and shopping for baby toys. He always did his best with taking care of Elizabeth when she was a baby. Chuong and Leslie welcomed another daughter Katelyn Myle Ngo on November 6, 2012. He was so proud to be a father of 2 beautiful daughters. Chuong was a wonderful loving father. He loved taking pictures of his girls during their birthday months, giving them baths at night, watching Mickey Mouse/Caillou cartoons after work, praying with them, and tucking them to sleep. He loved taking the girls for walks. He often took them to the carousel at Irvine Spectrum and South Coast Plaza which he loved to do. He was very sweet and gentle when caring for his girls.Chuong was very creative and a perfectionist on every project he worked on. He performed thorough research whenever he traveled for business or pleasure making sure that he found good hotels, things to do, and restaurants to dine at. He loved going to Hawaii with the family planning out structured itineraries ensuring the best vacation possible. His world became sad and dark on January 25, 2013. Chuong had suffered from a horrible headache; he was taken to the hospital where the doctor reported him having a ruptured aneurism in the brain. He was induced in a coma for a few days, where he fought for his dear life. On January 29, Chuong passed away leaving his wife and 2 daughters behind. His children will always treasure the memories they had with their daddy and will know that their dad is a beautiful guardian Angel looking down. May he continue to watch over and guide us from heaven above.
